       What are these characteristic? What kind of dog is yours? These questions can be asked by dog owners in Atlanta, Marietta, Cumming, Alpharetta and are good questions before purchasing and underground dog fence.

1. High Ball Drive – Dogs characterized by a high ball drive are dogs that love to chase things that move. This could be as slow as people walking by alone or with their dogs or as fast as a child on a bike or skate board on the sidewalk out front of your property in your subdivision. These type dogs like to chase things even cars up and down your road. 2. High Prey Drive – a high pray drive is even more difficult than a high ball drive, this dog desires to chase and catch or kill the cat, squirrel, chipmunk, bird or little dog. When the dog is in what is called “the red zone” their hearing is off, their eyes are peeled and their adrenaline is flowing. It takes quite a bit of pulse to turn a dog in this state. The dog must believe that it cannot get at the prey; he must be convinced in his mind that he is fenced. The installer is not always able to rely only on his collar strength or width of his fence especially in the case of a subdivision lot that is 1/3 to 1/2 acre. There must be the combination of good training, good installation and a strong collar for difficult stubborn dogs. 3. High aggression Issues – Dogs that are highly aggressive can be contained, but this system must be a state of the art containment system and the dog in question must be evaluated by a professional trainer who knows dogs and invisible dog fencing. There are dogs that should not be contained in an underground pet fence only, these dogs are too much of a liability for the owner.
